Section 2.1 Capture Findings

List summary of our findings:

Section 2.2 Develop your DEFINE statement

Based on our empathy interviews and captured findings, we developed the following DEFINE statements, keeping the user interviews in mind.

DEFINE statement #1 (required):

University students (18-22) who prefer collaborative learning NEED A WAY TO efficiently find and connect with compatible study groups BUT they want to avoid wasting time on unproductive or mismatched collaborations.

DEFINE statement #2 (required):

Highly motivated university students NEED A WAY TO quickly identify and join study groups with shared academic goals and commitment levels BUT they desire to minimize trial-and-error in finding effective study partners.

Section 2.3 Select your Final DEFINE Statement

After reviewing both statements, we selected the following as our final DEFINE statement, as it best captures the core need and insight gathered from our research.

Your Selected DEFINE Statement
