Creative Commons Media Showcase
This page demonstrates the implementation of various web media elements, attributes, and styling properties.
1. Image Implementation & Alignment
Demonstrated Attributes: This image functions as a clickable
link to its Creative Commons source. It includes descriptive alt text
for accessibility and strict size attributes (300x200) handled in the HTML markup.
Using CSS, the image has been aligned to the left of this text block, wrapped in a
distinct border, and configured with precise spacing (margins) so the surrounding text flows smoothly around it without crowding.
2. Custom Bullet List Style
The standard list bullet points below have been replaced with a custom image icon using the CSS list-style-image property.
- JPEG Format: Highly compressed, best optimized for complex photography.
- PNG Format: Supports lossless compression and transparent backgrounds.
- SVG Format: Vector-based code that scales perfectly to any size without losing quality.
3. Audio and Video Multimedia
Below are examples of audio and video tracks licensed through Creative Commons. Native viewer controls have been explicitly made visible.
