2004- Nintendo created the Nintendo DS, a portable gaming system. With two screens, two processors, multiplayer abilities, and a stylist for the touch screen, many games were created to be played on this device.
2006- Nintendo Wii helps everyone off the couch, with motion sensitive remotes, people who never liked video games now see the opportunity.
2009- Games like Farmville and Angry Birds give a new world to the games industry. Millions of people who had never thought of themselves as gamers then spent hours playing games on new platforms like Facebook and the iPhone.
2010- Minecraft, orignally Cave Gamem, comes into the gaming world, being addictive with endless possibilities for building.
2016- Pokémon Go is created, putting make believe creatures into the real world! At least through phone screens, that is. It is debated if it is just a quick fad or if it shows a bright future for video games.
