There was a clear pattern in the interviews. Both admitted to experiencing anxiety and shame when faced with their learning issues. Instead of seeking help, they resort to workarounds in order to mask due to the fear they will not be seen as smart or qualified enough. They also described the ordeal as exhausting.

Children and adults dealing with educational gaps often feel profound anxiety, exhaustion, and shame when forced to expose their weaknesses, so they need a completely safe, easy, and judgment-free way to master subjects without fear.

POV Statement

Our goal is to provide a free basic education application for children and adults because everyone deserves access to education, regardless of their financial situation or background. Many people may not have access to tutors, quality schools, or flexible learning opportunities. Our application would allow people to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule, making education more convenient and less stressful. By offering videos, interactive activities, games, and AI support, we can make learning easier and more engaging. Most importantly, we want to give people a chance to build their knowledge and skills without worrying about the cost of education.
