Wild cats live in the savanna, forest, jungle, and even neighborhoods. The reason why a cat would live in a neighborhood would probably be because a person is feeding it and when a person feeds a cat it learns it can come back for more food. Therefore it loses its ability to hunt and fight for itself.

A baby cat is known as a kitten and they are blind ate birth which makes them very vulnerable. Since a baby kitten is so vulnerable its mother stays and takes care of it until it can fend for itself.
