I have always loved baking and cooking. When I was younger, I helped my aunts or grandma bake/cook. We made a lot of delicious treats together. This recipe is one of my favorite recipes given to me from one of my aunts. It is pretty easy and fun. I hope you enjoy it too!
Ingredients:
To make the cake, you will need:
2 eggs
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
a pinch of salt
3/4 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup of milk
2 tbs of baking cocoa
1 1/4 cup of flour
1 tbs of baking powerder
orange or lemon skin shreds
To make the chocolate syrup, you will need:
1 cup of milk
1 tsp of butter
80 grams of chocolate
Directions
Mix the eggs, powdered sugar, and the salt well. Then add in the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and mix. When adding in the flour, pour it in slowly, and make sure the batter does not harden. Butter and flour the mold for the cake, then pour in the batter. Place in the oven for 35 min at a temperature of 356°f. Place the knife into the cake and if comes out clean, the cake is done baking, if not, keep the cake in the oven a little longer.
For the syrup, pour milk in a pan. Let boil, then remove. Mix the milk, butter, and chocalate in a bowl, NOT IN THE PAN. Now place in the fridge
After removing the cake from the oven, poke it with a stick or knife. Now pour the chocalate sauce on the cake. You can decorate the brownie cake with nuts, coconut, or sprinkles. Let outside for about 30 min to cool, then place in the fridge.
