World Biomes

According to national Geographic there are at least five types of major biomes on earth:
aquatic, grassland, forest, desert, and tundra. Each biome has its own subtypes.

Aquatic

Aquatic biomes consist of bodies of water

Forest

Forest Biomes have many trees.

Grassland

Grassland biomes are a large open area covered with grass, typically used for grazing.

Desert

Desert biomes are a dry and barren area of land covered with sand

Tundra

Tundra biomes are a vast, flat, treeless area in which the subsoil is permanently frozen
