shams

introduction

shams is my childhood best friend and we've known each other since 7th grade. i didn't really like her at first because i thought she was offputting and i was introverted. i grew to like her in 8th grade when we were placed in the same math class and i quickly found out she's a very humorous person. i don't see her as often as i used to, but our low-maintenance friendship will never begin to express how much i love her.

favorite memory together

shams and i took a trip to north carolina for a rock festival, but the show cancelled so we had to find things to do in the meantime. we went on a hike together and we had called an uber to get us there and i told her that we should schedule for a ride back home. she was hesitant and didn't know when we were getting back so we ultimately didn't schedule one. by the time it was getting dark, there were no ubers or lyfts willing to come pick us up and we ended up hitchhiking.
