Identify and solve issues with your indoor plants

Common Issues and How to Fix Them

Sometimes your plant will run into issues, which can be quite upsetting. However, don't fret! There's always a way to fix it if you act upon it early.

Yellowing Leaves

When a plant's leaves yellow, it is typically caused by overwatering or poor drainage. Check your pot's drainage holes and utilize a saucer to catch any runoff. Also ensure that you are waiting for your soil to dry before watering again.

Brown Leaf

This can be caused by dry air or salt buildup in the soil. Try misting your leaves or flush through the soil with distilled water to clean it.

Pests (Spider Mites, Mealybugs, etc.)

Sadly, indoor plants are not exempt from pests. On the leaves, soil, and stem of your plants make sure to check for tiny bugs and sticky residue. To fix this, you can wipe with neem oil, change out the soil, or use insecticidal soap regularly.

Wilting

Wilting is very common amongst even the most experienced plant owners. This can result from both under and over watering your plant, but typically under watering. Feel the soil to know what your plant needs; if it's dry increase the amount of times you water it. If it's wet, decrease how much water you give it.
